Rochester, New York

Here we are at worship at Messiah Lutheran in Rochester NY this past Sunday.  Found the congregation to be very welcoming.   The Gospel lesson on the farmer building bigger barns had many challenges in it.  He didn't share the guft of abundance.

Each pew had hand sanitizer.  Reminded me of Sally.

We are at the Renewing the Family of God Holden on the Road camp at Koinonia in Highland Lake, NY.  This is s picture of our a.m. Bible study with Fred Niedner... New Testament prof at Valparaiso U.  This has been a great week so far.  Lots of rest and reading. I had to drive 7 miles to catch wifi.  We will be here through Sunday.  Have fun with Mary and Martha on Sunday.

Golf, golf, golf!!

We are taking a bite of the big apple today.  We are on the Staten Island Ferry.  Its free.  The Strasman family is alive and well.  We will be in NYC  until  Monday am.  Then we head to family camp.  Holden village on the road for 7 days at Koinonia, NY. Keep the prayers coming.   We feel very blessed. We plan to worship in Harlem on Sunday.

Day two in Boston.   I ran out of gas on an off ramp.  A good Samaritan stopped and helped us.  Bonehead move on my part.  More to the story later.
